Bay islands consist of Roatán, Guanaja and Utila. Roatan is the most populated and is home to its capital Coxen Hole. Roatan and Guanaja are strong economic zones where as Utila is a quieter island. The important towns include French Harbour, Oak Ridge, West end and so on. The country's beaches are extremely beautiful and a Hotels and inns have sprung up everywhere .Care is being taken to beautify the place for attracting more tourists. Tourism is the main industry and has contributed to its economic growth. Construction industry has also developed substantially.
