Guyana is gifted with a lot of natural beauty and natural minerals. There are dense equatorial forests, mighty rivers and a lot of exciting wildlife. There are a lot of historic architectural structures which is a reminiscent of its early British and Dutch colonial days. The capital is Georgetown and is a very developed place, with lot of industries ,posh restaurant and hotels flourishing.

The country used to be quite poor economically, but with the tapping of the natural resources has improved its economy considerably. Agriculture and mining are the important economic sectors. Sugar and rice are the important produces and are exported. Bauxite is found in abundance and these mines are important to the economy. Lot of progress has been made in the construction and transportation industry as well.
