Saba is a small mountainous island and is a recent entrant in the tourism industry .But within a short span; it has come to be regarded as one of the finest scuba diving centers. This can be mainly attributed to the clean and clear waters surrounding the country which is well preserved by the locals and the administration .The Saba National Marine Park is a treat for the divers. The Hotel and catering industries are slowly developing in this country .A medical School also exists in this island. The presence of a small airport and a port with ferry services to the nearby islands has made the place more accessible in recent times.

Economy is as expected dependent on tourism. There are small cottage industries like the lacework industry but with economy being given a boost more industries are bound to develop.
