These are two groups of islands. The administrative and political capital of Turk & Caicos Islands is Grand Turk. .A number of beaches across North Caicos Islands is a great tourist attraction. The island of Providential, commonly known as Provo is home to a luxurious golf course, a number of spas & restaurants. These set of islands attract tourists and historians alike.

Trade takes place via ports and harbors around Grand Trunk and Providential. There are a few airports spread along the inhabited islands of the country. Tourism industry is the backbone of the economy. Fishing and offshore financial services are the other significant industries here. Agriculture exists in a small way with produces like citrus fruits, maize and so on.
